Frequent Asked Questions
Everything you might want to know before starting a project with us
Getting Started
-
Costs vary depending on scope, complexity and timeline. Most projects start from £8k, while smaller prototypes or exploratory work can start lower. Long-term collaborations are also available through monthly retainers.
You can receive a tailored estimate using our brief builder, usually within 48 hours. -
It depends on the scope. Small prototypes or exploratory projects typically take 1–3 weeks, while larger projects such as reporting systems, campaigns or installations usually take 4–12 weeks. More complex collaborations or product development can extend beyond that timeline.
-
The easiest way is to complete the brief builder or book a short call with our team. We’ll review your idea, clarify the scope and recommend the most suitable approach for your project.

We work with many types of datasets, including environmental data, behavioural data, cultural archives, sensor data, research data and business analytics. If the data can be analysed or structured, it can usually be visualised, interpreted or transformed into a meaningful experience.
-
That’s more common than you think. We can help define what data should be collected, design data collection methods, or identify existing datasets that can support the project.
